Religious Education Registration 2024-2025

Good Day Everyone!

I cannot believe how fast summer is flying by! I hope you all have had some opportunity to relax and recharge this summer.

I am excited to open registration for Religious Ed for the new school year. Like last year, we have an online form which can be found on the WCCC Religious Education page and completed online. Please complete the registration form and email it to eileen@whalingcitycatholics.org. If you do not have access, please contact me to mail you a form. Please complete the registration form no later than August 31. Your family must be registered members of either St. Lawrence, Holy Name of the Sacred Heart or St. Francis of Assisi.

As in the past few years, First Communion and Confirmation 2 will be weekly, in person classes. The other classes will continue to have the Gospel Weekly packets but we will incorporate a few in person sessions throughout the year as we did last year. I really liked having the opportunity for each student to come in person and get to know more faces and names! This is so everyone can get to know each other better and relationships can be nurtured and grown.

We are working on the schedule and will be ready to share in the next few weeks. Please reach out to me with any questions you may have!

Registration fee remains the same for all levels and is as follows:

1 child – $30.00, 2 children – $50.00, 3+ children – $60.00

Payments are to be paid online through PAYPAL here or by check. Payments are made to the parish you belong to.
