Upcoming Mass on the 26th Anniversary of the passing of St. Teresa of Calcutta

Members of the Missionaries of Charity of New Bedford, the religious order founded by Mother Teresa who minister in our city, extend an invitation to all to attend a special Mass to be offered for her on the anniversary of her death. Mass will be celebrated at St. Lawrence Martyr on Tuesday September 5th at 11:00 AM. The church was the site of the Mass celebrated by then Fall River Bishop Sean O’Malley, OFM Cap., in honor of Mother Teresa’s visit to the Diocese of Fall River in June of 1995. St. Lawrence Martyr is the parish of the Missionaries of Charity whose convent is located across the street.
